Wedding Video OptionsSunray has accumulated the largest selection of flexible options available anywhere for you to be able to personalize your wedding video to match your style and preferences. Review the list below and select the ones that are the most interesting to you. Ask about having Sunray provide a sound system for your outdoor wedding!
Please note the following are options only and DO NOT include videotaping of the actual ceremony or reception. Please refer to the video packages page or call us for more information. "Flashback" video montage - (up to 5 minutes in length, additional minutes available)Your wedding day will be a key pivotal time in your life. The majority of our clients have chosen to commemorate the "merging of their past with the beginning of their future" by starting off their wedding video with a "retrospective" look back on their past. By artistically interweaving combinations of photos, home movies, video clips, scrapbook items, etc. of the bride and groom, from their childhood through their engagement, with their favorite music, we create a compelling preface to the wedding coverage. (Biographical narration and/or family interviews may also be added.) In order to produce the most entertaining and emotional video, each image is carefully evaluated to determine how it will be captured (panning across, zooming in, etc.), how long it will remain on the screen, and how it will be incorporated into the finished video. You may want to have us show your "flashback" video to your guests at the reception, like so many other couples have done! (See "Video montage presentation" below.) Engagement, Love Story, or Concept video - Do you have a unique or exciting story about how you and your fiancé met or the proposal? Have you ever thought about making your very own music video? Have you been looking for a fun and entertaining way to include your wedding party in your video? One of the most exciting innovations available in wedding video today is called the Engagement or Concept video! We can help you decide on a concept and music, whether you want to go to the beach, a Balboa Park, Sea World, in the comfort of your home, or anyplace you like. It can be a love story, a made-up story, or just hanging out with your friends. You may want to have us show this video at your reception. Sharing this video with your guests could be the highlight of your reception!Click on the photo to see a sample.
NEW! Sunray's "Ceremony Montage Miracle" Now, you can have clips from your ceremony rushed to be shown with your "flashback" or Engagement video (mentioned above) at your reception! We can blend these clips in with the video, leaving your guests wondering "how'd you do that!" (Availability may be limited. Call for details.) Video montage presentation - Now that you've invested some time gathering materials for the "Flashback" or Engagement/Concept video, wouldn't you like to have it shown at your reception? We can provide and set-up a video projector with a digital vcr (for best picture quality) that we'll hook up to your DJ or band's sound system to show these video/s to your guests at your reception. You may be eligible for a discount on this option, call us for details. If you combine this option with a "flashback" video in your package, we'll, also, put your flashback video on a CDRom AND give you an extra "flashback" minute for free! Sound systems are also available for an additional charge. (Call for details and rates.) It's a great way to turn an ordinary reception into an event your guests will be talking about long after it's over!Rehearsal or Rehearsal Dinner coverage - Capture those special moments.Bride's Preparation - This could very well be the biggest day of your entire life! Wouldn't you like to capture every moment? Whether you just want to remember the precious moments with your family, or you'd like your fiancé to see the preparation you went through before the ceremony, we'll capture everything from hair-styling & make-up to mom fixing the veil. What wedding day documentary would be complete without this?Groom's Preparation - Few people ever get to see what the groom went through during his preparation. We can even produce a concept-style video (see above) involving the groomsmen.3rd Camera at the ceremony - 3 cameras at the ceremony provides ideal coverage! The third camera has the best view of the Groom and his family, and, can be used to get shots not usually seen in most wedding videos today, such as, the Bride's perspective when the church doors open for her entrance. Additional cameras may be added as desired.2nd Camera at the reception - A 2nd camera can spice up any reception coverage. One camera can only be in ONE place at a time and might miss something (particularly during interviews). With 2 cameras, we can capture reactions and personal messages from your guests and not miss any of the reception activities. Recommended for short receptions or receptions with performances during the meal.Wedding Day Highlights - How would you like to be able to share your wedding memories with friends and family in less than an hour? In these busy times, most people don't have the time to watch a few hours of someone else's wedding video. We can condense the highlights of the day to around 30-45 minutes of compelling video. This is our most popular option, without a doubt!Wedding Day Highlights on CDRom - How would you like to have your Wedding Highlights (see above) put on CDRom to share with anyone?
Honeymoon montage - No, we don't go with you on your honeymoon,...unless you want us to. (Just kidding.) We can wrap up your video with your favorite honeymoon photos set to the music of your choice. A perfect ending to a memorable video. NEW! Sunray's Exclusive "Director's Cut" option - Have you had a chance to check out the new DVD movies? Many of them offer a "behind the scenes" look at the making of the movie. Now, you too can create your very own "behind the scenes" making of YOUR wedding day! We can interview the Bride, Groom, family, friends, and even vendors (with their permission) to provide an "inside look" of the day. This can be included with the "wedding day highlights" video. Many variations of this are available, call for details. Sunray's Photo Album - Our digital video capabilities allow us to print photos from your video! You can select 4x5, 5x7, and 8x10 prints from the over 200,000 pictures in your video. We can also put them on CDRom!Wedding Precap/Recap - If you choose the wedding recap, we'll close out your video with a short 5 minute recap of the wedding day. A "precap" is a artistic montage combining pre-ceremony activities with glimpses from the wedding day. This usually appears on your wedding video before the ceremony portion begins. Credits may be added to the recap if desired. A wonderful beginning or ending for a great video."Thanks You's" on CDRom or encoded for sending via email How would you like to send your guest a video "thank you" to thank them for their gifts and/or attendance at your wedding? A recap of your wedding could be included if you like. This video can be put on VHS, DVD, or CDRom to be mailed out or encoded for sending via email.NEW! "Planning the Perfect Wedding" - This is a very unique option we've introduced. How would you like to document the early planning stages of the wedding. We can videotape any part of the planning process such as, picking out the rings, choosing the flowers, finding the right dress, selecting Tuxedos. Portions of this video could be shown at the reception. Give us a call for more information. Sound System for your Ceremony - If you're planning on having an outdoor ceremony, you may need a sound system for the guests to hear the minister/officiant. We can provide a sound system that can be hooked up to our mixing board. We, usually, have to "mic up" everyone who will be talking or speaking anyway.
DVD's of your wedding video - We offer two styles of DVD's.
Basic DVD - (up to 2 hours of video per disc) - Your wedding video recorded to DVD. It plays from start to finish with index points every 5 minutes.Deluxe DVD - (up to 2 hours of video per disc) - Your wedding video authored to DVD. This DVD will have a menu and chapters that you can access directly, similar to movies that you rent or purchase.
